Christopher Stratton Smith is a writer with a deep love for atmospheric movies, TV shows, video games, and tabletop RPGs that delve into the dark, mysterious, and macabre.

As an English- and Finnish-speaking native bilingual, Christopher has a foot firmly planted in both cultures and has a nuanced understanding of cultural differences in art, media, and communication.

Supported by a background in English philology, teaching, and tabletop RPG design, Christopher has written, edited, translated, and proofread original stories, embracing beloved genre conventions that he isn’t afraid to break when it leads to exciting results.

Christopher has published several tabletop RPG products independently. He has also completed collaborative projects, most notably as a lead writer for the “Kultainen lohikäärme” award-winning tabletop roleplaying game, “Legendoja ja lohikäärmeitä.”

Christopher lives in Tampere, Finland, with his wife and two children.
